About Augustine

Dr. Augustine Yirenkyi is a renowned scholar and educator with a wealth of experience in academia and education policy administration. Dr. Augustine joined CEND in 2018 as the consultant in charge of education.

He holds a Ph.D. in English Education from Monash University, Australia, a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from KNUST Business School, Ghana, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics Education from the University of Winneba.

Dr. Augustine has over 15 years of experience leading high-performing teams that specialize in early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, vocational education, and tertiary education consulting.

With many years of teaching experience, Dr. Augustine has taught at various educational levels. His research focuses on sociocultural issues in teaching and learning, content pedagogy, curriculum development, internationalization of education, and teacher education. Dr. Augustine worked at the College of Education Studies at the University of Cape Coast before joining CEND.
