This course is comprised of three modules: Email Marketing Strategies, Website Optimization for Fundraising, and Donor Relationship Management. 

By the end of this course, you will have a comprehensive understanding of email and website strategies for effective fundraising. You will have developed practical skills to create impactful email campaigns, optimize their fundraising websites, and cultivate meaningful relationships with donors in the digital realm.

This course is eligible towards the completion of the Certificate in Digital Fundraising

Objectives
  • Understand the fundamental principles of email marketing and its significance in digital fundraising.
  • Develop the skills to create compelling email campaigns, including crafting persuasive subject lines, writing engaging content, and designing visually appealing emails.
  • Learn how to effectively measure the success of email campaigns, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics.
  • Gain insights into website optimization techniques specific to fundraising, such as creating user-friendly donation forms, incorporating storytelling elements, leveraging persuasive visuals and other design principles.
  • Understand the importance of website performance optimization, including page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and navigation.
  • Learn strategies for tracking and reporting donations through website analytics and donor management systems.
  • Discover effective donor relationship management techniques, utilizing email and website interactions to build and nurture strong connections with supporters, including segmentation.
  • Recognize the role that generative AI can play in your social media fundraising efforts.

Schedule:

The course is offered in the following two formats:

(1) In-person

The in-person class is three days in length.

Day 1: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Day 2: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

(2) Virtual (Live) Schedule

The live, virtual class is held over six sessions from 2pm to 5pm Eastern and hosted using the Zoom platform.
